I disagree. The fact that we had people worse than him in the past doesn't mean he should get a free pass. He speaks awfully and he probably thinks he's good. He completely twists the pronunciation of the words at the point it's even less understandable than the average Italian.

He was recently interviewed by BBC and I had a lot of people questioning me like "why can't he just speak in italian and get subbed?". He's honestly cringe-worthy.
