Bruno Mars aveva avute due ere di grande successo e si era imposto come nome. Senza dimenticare che ha fatto il superbowl da solo, poi con i Coldplay e Beyoncé e nella sua "pausa" ha avuto UptownFunk che è una delle canzoni di maggior successo degli ultimi 20 anni. Lorde invece viene da un'era andata bene, con una grande hit (Royal) e altre che sono andate benino. Non si era ancora imposta come grande nome sulla scena musicale, ecco perché la pausa forse doveva essere più breve. Però in generale i primi singoli di quelli che non rilasciavano dal 2013 (Bruno, Katy e Lorde) stanno deludendo nelle classifiche. Bruno si è ripreso con il secondo e pure 24k Magic ha avuto grande longevità, vediamo le altre due. Per Katy il discorso riguarda più gli USA perché nel resto del mondo è ok.

Il problema di Lorde è che Green Light è una brutta canzone, non ha un decimo della riconoscibilità di tutte le tracce di Pure Heroine, rispetto a Royals siamo proprio su un altro pianeta.
Non capisco, c'era un sacco di hype per il suo ritorno, poteva e doveva muoversi molto meglio.
Speriamo che si risollevi col prossimo singolo e con le vendite dell'album, è l'ultima artista a meritare un'era flop.

Con un singolo in stile Royals avrebbe floppato anche peggio, quantomeno sul lungo andare.

Per quanto riguarda solo le vendite no, Ed ha venduto 322k copie mentre Drake 226k. In SPS (sales plus streaming) come vengono considerati per la classifica sì. Ed 451k untà vs le 505k unità di Drake.
Bisogna considerare anche il fatto che More Life non è un vero album per Drake, nell'hiphop i cantanti rilasciano dei progetti tra album. Inoltre More Life era disponibile solo nella versione digitale.
