L'idea Gerusalemme era suggestiva ma impraticabile, Tel Aviv era sicuramente la scelta migliore e sono sicuro che verrà fuori una gran bella edizione 
Tra l'altro sarà il terzo ESC organizzato da Israele e la prima volta per Tel Aviv, mentre nel 1979 e 1999 era toccato alla capitale.
