This is my first time watching Sanremo. Tell me, why are the hosts singing? I think it's the third time so far. Why?

It's Sanremo... Be prepared for everything including absolutely random interval miniconcerts of indeterminate length, endings at 2am, duets just starting their song getting angry at each other leaving the stage and getting disqualified, pubblicità!, more interval acts and most importantly of all, quality music!
Don't prepare for: speed. The only quick thing you will experience during the whole night is how fast they stop voting once the last act has performed...
